Dalsnibba is a 1,476 meter peak just south of Geiranger. A dirt toll road has been built to a lookout point at the top where you can get a commanding view of the surrounding mountains and the fjord coming into Geiranger. This is only about 130 degrees of the 360 degree view you get from up here.

At right, Jim is looking to the lake on our way down the mountain.  At left, Jim carefully rides down the road toward the lake. Although the lake appears very blue in the picture, this is mild in comparison to the brilliant blue it truly was!
