Our adventures for the year 2000 involved the initial bit of travel we did to determine if we could live together 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In case you missed it, you can read about this in the home page for the Travelogues section which appears in the main menu.

This coincided with our quitting work, doing a bit of travel with the bikes in Europe (we were working in Dublin, Ireland when we stopped working) and flying with them to Canada and riding across the northern portion of the United States in April and May. We returned to Europe in September and traveled through the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Spain.

Pictured above, right is the house we rented near Alicante, Spain when we arrived in October, 2000. Actually we did not rent the house - just the portion above the garage which can be seen on the left side of the picture. This was our home for three months while we enrolled in Spanish language classes at the University of Alicante.
