Comment: Prague was home to many of the Jewish faith and has several unique synagogs. This one was built for the Spanish Jews and clearly shows the moorish styling.

metro escalator * A shot from the bottom of one of the huge escalators in the Prague metro system.  This and others like it are long and quite steep.  While traveling on it, people look as if they are leaning back (if moving down) or leaning forward (if moving up) because the angle is so great. * 432 x 324 * (77KB)
