Comment: Tree-lined Pariska Street, one of the areas where the wealthy people lived. Many beautiful homes still exist here in a variety of architectural styles.
grafitti on bathroom wall * This grafitti was found on the bathroom wall of a small restaurant in Prague where we went for breakfast.  Interesting comment about our president! * 432 x 302 * (60KB)

jewish burial society building * The Jewish Burial Society building in Prague.  This society made sure that all Jewish people, reagardless of economic status, were provided a decent burial.  Next to this building (behind the wall) is the Jewish cemetary. * 306 x 432 * (72KB)

metro escalator * A shot from the bottom of one of the huge escalators in the Prague metro system.  This and others like it are long and quite steep.  While traveling on it, people look as if they are leaning back (if moving down) or leaning forward (if moving up) because the angle is so great. * 432 x 324 * (77KB)

spanish synagogue * Prague was home to many of the Jewish faith and has several unique synagogs.  This one was built for the Spanish Jews and clearly shows the moorish styling. * 320 x 432 * (85KB)
